Nationalpark Chalet Wildenkogel
This detached chalet is located on the edge of the village of Neukirchen and offers a magnificent view of the Großvenediger, the highest mountaintop of the Hohe Tauern area. It is part of the Nationalpark Chalets and is named after one of the peaks of this nature reserve. In this luxuriously furnished chalet, you can accommodate up to four people for a comfortable holiday. There are two bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms on the ground floor. The living room, on the first floor, has a spacious sitting area and an open kitchen with dining area. The glass front not only offers a beautiful view of the mountain landscape but also provides access to the large balcony/terrace. Unwind in the fine relaxation room with TV, sauna and shower.
In winter, ski directly from the reception area down towards the ski bus that takes you to the gondola of the Wildkogel Arena for a whole day of winter sports fun. If you want to visit another ski area, it’s just a 15-30 minutes' drive until you arrive at the Kitzbüheler Alpen or the Zillertal Arena. After an active day in the snow, you can enjoy all the luxury and comfort of Chalet Wildenkogel. Relax your muscles in the sauna and unwind in front of the cosy fireplace after the adventures of the day.
In summer, the 'Nationalpark Sommercard' is included in your stay and allows you to take part in various free summer activities, among other things! You can use the ski lift once a day, free of charge, to take you to the top of the mountain. The children can enjoy themselves here in the playground, and various walking, cycling and mountain bike trails have been mapped out. Pay a visit to the Blausee, take the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn to visit one of the surrounding villages, take a day trip to Zell am See or simply enjoy the beautiful views from the spacious balcony/terrace of Chalet Wildenkogel.
