Our Hotel Chalet Dorf is located in Neukirchen am Großvenediger, on the south side of the Rossberg. This region was mainly used for farming and the horses (popularly called Ross) grazed the slopes of the Rossberg. This is where the horseshoe comes from in the coat of arms of the National Park Chalets. The mountain range shown in the coat of arms represents the Venediger group of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The most famous mountain peak, the Großvenediger, can be seen here.
